Bengaluru, Sept. 20 -- Move over, Centre Court. India is gearing up to serve up its first-ever international wheelchair tennis tournament, and the man at the helm is none other than Chandrakant Baldota, president of the Karnataka Wheelchair Tennis Association (KWTA).
Tentatively scheduled for February 2026 in Bengaluru, this event promises to put Indian wheelchair tennis on the global map.
Baldota, who has been steering KWTA for just over a year, admits he had to learn the ropes fast.
