Balasore, March 21 -- Balasore police have busted a flesh trading racket with the arrest of 13 people included traffickers and pimps involved in the crime.
The police also rescued 6 women including two Bangladeshi nationals following raids at different places including in West Bengal.
All the accused persons were booked under sections 366B,368,370,34 of IPC and 5 &6 of the immoral traffic (prevention)Act, Balasore Superintendent of police Sagarika Nath told newsmen here on Tuesday
She said the racket was exposed after they initiated an investigation based on information from a West Bengal-based NGO which alleged that women from their area were trafficked to Odisha for immoral purposes.
