Amravati, Nov. 18 -- Former State minister and president of Prahar Janshakti Party Bacchu Kadu today accused the BJP of not only breaking its allies but also creating an atmosphere of religious polarization in Maharashtra.

Addressing a press conference here, Kadu expressed his concerns about the current state of politics in the state.

"The BJP is responsible for destroying the existing alliances. The way they have conducted themselves in recent times is an attack on democracy.

The Shiv Sena was a strong ally of the BJP, but they have pushed them away for their own political gain," he remarked.
