Ranchi, Nov. 5 -- Jharkhand BJP president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Hemant Soren-led government over the JSSC-CGL paper leak case, alleging misuse of power and intimidation of whistleblowers.
Marandi accused the state government and its agencies of attempting to threaten and silence those raising concerns about the exam irregularities, even though the matter is currently under judicial consideration.
He alleged that CID notices to activists Kunal Pratap Singh and Prakash Poddar, who have been vocal about the alleged scam, reveal the government's intent to suppress dissent while protecting the real culprits.
