Karachi, Nov. 1 -- Pakistan captain Babar Azam created history in Men's T20I cricket, surpassing India's Rohit Sharma to become the highest run-getter in the format.
In just his second game after returning to T20 internationals, Babar needed nine runs to break Rohit's record of 4,231 runs in 151 innings. He achieved the milestone in his 123rd innings, finishing unbeaten on 11 off 18 balls during Pakistan's comfortable nine-wicket win over South Africa at home.
Pakistan chased down South Africa's modest target of 110 with ease, leveling the three-match series 1-1.
