Srinagar, March 5 -- Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad on Tuesday hit out at the regional parties of J&K who are accusing his party of being a BJP ally.

Azad said it was the hypocrisy of those parties who were the former allies of the BJP.

" These parties should reflect on their past actions before pointing fingers. They were the ones who formed a government with the BJP in the past. Even today, they are pleading with them to ally," Azad said while addressing a public meeting held in Hillar Dooru, Anantnag.

In the past, both the National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party had an alliance with BJP.

Azad criticized other parties for their past failures and empty promises.
