Bhubaneswar, Jan. 7 -- The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) will be launched as a pilot project in Odisha's Keonjhar district, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said. Under the digital mission, key healthcare services such as appointment booking, referrals, and follow-ups will be carried out through digital platforms. The initiative aims to reduce patient waiting time and ensure optimal utilization of healthcare infrastructure.
Reviewing the programmes of the Health Department, the Chief Minister said that based on an assessment of the pilot's success, ABDM will be expanded across the entire state in the next phase.
