Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 23 -- Kerala Health Minister Veena George will today inaugurate the State-level programme for the 10th Ayurveda Day and officially launch 12 projects worth Rs 14.39 crore to strengthen Ayurveda and other indigenous systems of medicine under the AYUSH department.
Most of these projects are ready for implementation and include comprehensive maternity care, an e-hospital covering 240 institutions, the AYUSH Yoga Club app to encourage daily yoga practice, and speciality clinics for non-communicable diseases.
Among the major initiatives, Suthikamitram will provide scientific training to women in Ayurveda-based prenatal and postnatal care, while Supraja will function as a comprehensive maternal and child health program...
