New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- Highlighting Ayurveda's role as a holistic and environmentally sustainable system of healthcare, union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush, Prataprao Jadhav, today said Ayurveda is not merely a medical discipline, but a way of life that fosters harmony between individuals and their environment.
Speaking at the curtain raiser for Ayurveda Day 2025, here, the Minister noted that Ayurveda continues to be the most widely practised traditional health system in both rural and urban India, as confirmed by the first all-India NSSO survey on Ayush usage.
