Bengaluru, July 14 -- In a defining moment for global space collaboration, the SpaceX Dragon capsule undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) today, carrying four astronauts, including India's Shubhanshu Shukla, back to Earth after completing a landmark 18-day mission in orbit.
The undocking, initially slated for 4:15 pm IST, was delayed by about 30 minutes, beginning instead at 4:45 pm IST. The crew is now expected to splash down off the coast of California around 3:00 pm IST on Tuesday, July 15, with weather conditions reported to be favourable.
The capsule will enter the Depart Burn 0 stage before the capsule enters the Depart Burn 1 stage. The capsule will then embark on a journey back to Earth.
