Chennai, July 15 -- ISRO today said the Axiom-4 mission successfully concluded with the return of Indian Gaganyatri Shubhanshu Shukla, marking a proud moment both for ISRO and India as he returned after a historic 18-day scientific mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Launched on June 25, 2025, aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, the mission was conducted in collaboration with NASA, Axiom Space, ESA, and other international partners.

The four member AX4 crew from India, US, Hungary and Poland completed their 22.5 hr journey after undocking from ISS and splashed down in Pacific ocean off California coast today afternoon at 1500 hrs.
