Sydney, Dec. 29 -- Australia is set to include experienced pace duo Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood in their provisional squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup despite ongoing injury concerns, head coach Andrew McDonald has confirmed.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, Cummins, who returned for the third Ashes Test in Adelaide before being ruled out of the remainder of the series as a precaution, will undergo another scan on his back in around four weeks.

A final decision on his availability for the tournament, which begins on February 7, will be taken after the results of that assessment.
