Aurangabad (Maharashtra), July 6 -- The Congress party here on Monday registered displeasure for not being invited to the high-level meet held to discuss the COVID-19 situation and later announce an eight-day janta curfew, starting from July 10, in this district.

Talking to UNI, party city chief Mohammad Hisham Osmani said, "Its' a matter of concern as there was no Congress representative in the meet. Though we don't have any MP or MLA here, we are one of the alliance partner in the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi dispensation."

"We represent voice of many people of the society. Hence, Aurangabad Congress leadership should have been invited in the meet. The matter will be taken with the State-level party higher-ups," he asserted.
