Jaipur, Aug. 12 -- The Rajasthan government's ambitious programme of inducing artificial rain by cloud seeding was marred by the presence of large enthusiastic crowds at the location near Ramgarh dam near here as the drone meant to be flown for cloud seeding attempted twice till late afternoon but could not succeed. Large number of enthusiastic spectators gathered on reports of drone flights for cloud seeding to witness the first of its kind experiment. The police had a tough time in controlling the crowd and even used mild force to disperse the crowd. Meanwhile, the drone attempted twice to take flight but that failed.
