Mumbai, Dec. 19 -- Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said here on Friday there is a deliberate political attempt to drag the name of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde into the Satara drug case, which is "completely wrong and condemnable".
Whatever evidence has emerged so far has absolutely no connection, even remotely, with Eknath Shinde or his family. Misleading people and forcibly linking names in such serious cases is not appropriate, Fadnavis said.
Fadnavis was speaking to the media on the sidelines of the World Hindu Economic Forum Conference, organised in Mumbai.
