Beed, Jan. 9 -- The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested five persons from the Majalgaon area of Beed district for allegedly channelling crores of rupees to terrorist organisations through a fictitious trust, officials said on Friday.
The arrests were carried out on the afternoon of January 8 with the assistance of Majalgaon Rural Police Station. The accused have been identified as Ahmeduddin Qaisar Qazi, Imran Kaleem Sheikh, Mazmil Noor Syed, Ahmeduddin Sattar Qazi and Taufeeq Javed Qazi.
According to ATS officials, the accused allegedly created a fake trust named "Gulzar-e-Raza" and collected large sums of money from the public under the pretext of religious and charitable activities. It is alleged that forged documents w...
