Patna, Feb. 15 -- Congress leader Anand Madhav alleged that incidents of Dalit atrocities increased alarmingly in Bihar under the rule of the BJP.
Madhav told newspersons here on Saturday that the situation has deteriorated to such an extent that the workers of BJP and JDU were attacking Dalits fatally. Referring to the scheduled caste Commission data, Madhav said that the top four states in Dalit oppression are all ruled by the BJP.
Madhav said that during 2018-19, the maximum number of 1.3 lakh cases of Dalit oppression in the country were in UP and Bihar which indicates BJP promoted Dalit atrocities most under its regime.
