New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Atishi, today wrote to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta raising concerns over water shortage in several parts of the national capital.

In the letter, Atishi highlighted that areas such as Kalkaji, Badarpur, Okhla, and parts of South and Central Delhi are experiencing severe water scarcity, with dry taps even as streets remain waterlogged.

Atishi questioned the efficiency of the BJP-led government and the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), pointing out that the crisis persists despite the party controlling both the municipal administration and the governments of neighboring states.
