Bengaluru, Sept. 5 -- union Minister Ramdas Athawale today claimed that a viral video, which allegedly shows Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a confrontation with a female IPS officer, denoted a case of "simple lapse or misunderstanding" that has since been resolved.

"This could be due to a simple lapse or misunderstanding, and there is no reason to escalate it further."The video, which circulated widely on social media, raised questions about protocol and conduct between senior political leaders and law enforcement officials.
