Abu Dhabi, Sept. 9 -- Sediqullah Atal's half-century and Azmatullah Omarzai's late blitz powered Afghanistan to a commanding 188 for six against Hong Kong in their Men's T20 Asia Cup 2025 Group B opener here tonight.
Atal, who was dropped twice by Hong Kong skipper Yasim Murtaza, made full use of the chances to bring up his third T20I fifty in his last four innings, underscoring his growing consistency at the top. The left-hander anchored the innings with fluent strokeplay against spin before falling soon after reaching the milestone.
