Imphal, Feb. 27 -- Arambai Tenggol (AT) members laid down arms to Manipur government on Thursday.
Large numbers of AT members were seen entering First Manipur Rifles ground here to lay down arms. However, the exact figures of arms and ammunition laid down were not known as the media was not allowed to witness the event.
Two days ago leaders of AT discussed the Manipur situation with Raj Bhawan. The Arambai Tenggol a cultural organization emerged as the defender of the masses after the burning of houses and killing of people belonging to a specific community at Churachandpur on May 3, 2024.
