BuenosAires, Oct. 27 -- At least 13 people were killed on Sunday when a double-decker passenger bus collided head-on with a compact car in Argentina's northeastern province of Misiones, local media reported, citing authorities.

According to the Misiones government, the accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. local time on a bridge amid thick fog, and the bus carrying passengers from the city of Obera to Puerto Iguazu fell into a stream below due to the impact of the collision.
