Chandrapur, Sept. 29 -- The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested an Assistant Revenue Officer (ARO) here for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 to clear a project-affected certificate, an ACB release said today.

The accused has been identified as Narendra Khandekar, Assistant Revenue Officer.

According to the ACB, the complainant's daughter was selected as a junior engineer in Maharashtra State Electricity Generation Company (MSEB) under the project-affected quota. For verification of the certificate, the family approached the rehabilitation office in July 2025.
