New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday urged the Election Commission and DCP (South East) to increase 24x7 paramilitary forces deployment in Kalkaji Assembly constituency to ensure free and fair Assembly election.
In a letter addressed to the Returning Officer of the Kalkaji assembly constituency, Atishi highlighted the large-scale distribution of money and liquor, terming it a "blatant violation" of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) inside JJ clusters of the Kalkaji Assembly constituency.
Attaching medical reports of the harmed, Atishi pointed out that these illegal activities are being accompanied by instances of violence, creating an atmosphere of fear among voters.
