Assam to institute judicial commission to probe Zubeen's death

Guwahati, Oct. 3 -- The Assam. Government has decided to institute a judicial commission to probe the death of popular singer Zubeen Garg. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said this on Friday on his X handle and added that the commission will be headed by Justice Soumitra Saikia of the Gauhati High Court.

"We will form the commission tomorrow. Now, we request all the people who have any information or videos related to Zubeen Garg's death to come forward and depose in front of the commission," he added.

"Assam Government will constitute a Judicial Commission under Hon'ble Justice Soumitra Saikia to examine the circumstances surrounding the demise BelovedZubeen," said the Assam Chief Minister has on his X handle.
