Itanagar, July 17 -- In a significant breakthrough in the crackdown against illegal arms movement, the Assam Rifles recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation in the MS 38 area along the Miao-Vijaynagar axis in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs about the presence of arms in the region, the Assam Rifles launched a operation. Specialized teams, supported by advanced surveillance equipment and tracker dogs were deployed to carry out an extensive search.
