Imphal, March 14 -- Assam Rifles Mantripukhri Battalion today organised a felicitation ceremony to honour Lieutenant Wikhamlubou Pamei, a young officer recently commissioned into the Indian Army from the Officers Training Academy, Chennai.
Senior Officials, along with troops, joined the event to celebrate his achievement and inspire the youth of the region.
Lt Pamei, a native of Kuilong village in Tamenglong District and presently residing at Kanglatongbi in Imphal West, has become a source of immense pride for his community. His journey from a remote village to the ranks of a Commissioned officer reflects perseverance, dedication and commitment to serving the nation.
