Guwahati, Sept. 8 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that a total of 18 infiltrators were pushed back.

"I've read the comments in my previous posts on these pushbacks where people have suggested a lot of things. Be assured, we are doing everything within protocol to ensure that these illegal infiltrators don't come back to Assam. Eighteen of them were pushed back last night," Sarma wrote in a post on his X handle.
