Guwahati, April 7 -- Assam police has launched tele-counselling helplines for people
suffering from depression and anxiety due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The state police has activated six-tele counseling helplines in association with the
psychiatry department of Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), clinical
psychologists and psychiatric social workers.
The helplines will be operational from 9 am to 3 pm are 6026901053, 6026901054 and
6026901055. The helplines which will be operational from 3 pm to 9 pm are 6026901056,
6026901057 and 6026901058.
Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus cases in Assam has increased to 27 on
Tuesday.
