Guwahati, July 10 -- Assam state BJP today said that the party will go all alone in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) poll which has been delayed due to Coronavirus pandemic. In a statement issued by the state unit said that the BJP has no plans to tie up with anyone in the upcoming BTC elections and the party will fight the polls on its own strength. Notably, Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) which is the ruling in the council before the Governor rule was imposed is an ally of the saffron party in the government.

" There are reports doing rounds that BJP will partner with BPF or UPPL for the upcoming elections in the region. All these are baseless. We will partner with the people of Bodoland and will seek their blessings," Mr Rupam Goswam...
