Lausanne (Switzerland), Oct. 28 -- The Council of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) approved Strategy 2025-2032 and launched the sixth review of international federations' governance to support good governance across its member associations.
Yesterday, the Council met for the first time since its new composition was elected in June, ahead of the 2025 International Federation Forum in Lausanne, to set direction for strengthening the collective influence and effectiveness of the IFs.
The priorities of ASOIF's strategy are "Advocacy, Influence and Representation," "Olympic Games Excellence" and "Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing." The strategy will be officially launched in early 2026, ASOIF said.
