Ranchi, March 29 -- The ASMITA Women's Volleyball League got underway in Ranchi on Sunday under the aegis of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI).
The two-day tournament is being organised by the Ranchi District Volleyball Association under the Jharkhand Volleyball Association at the volleyball ground in Oxygen Park, Morabadi.
Organisers said the event is aimed at providing a competitive platform to women players and promoting volleyball in Jharkhand.
