Bengaluru, Sept. 15 -- Veteran sports administrator Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra and India's celebrated long jumper Anju Bobby George will lead a newly constituted Advisory Board of the Association for Sports Industry Professionals (ASIP), tasked with shaping the organisation's strategic roadmap and pioneering initiatives.

The formation of the high-powered panel was approved at ASIP's second Management Board meeting held late yesterday evening.

Batra, former president of the Indian Olympic Association, FIH and Hockey India, will chair the Board, while Anju Bobby George - World Athletics medallist, Khel Ratna and Padma Shri awardee, and Senior Vice President of the Athletics Federation of India - joins as one of its key members.
