Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 29 -- Asianet, one of the leading television channels among Malayalee audiences, has lined up a bouquet of special programmes for Onam, featuring world television premieres, telefilms, music concerts, comedy skits and festive episodes.
The Onam specials begin on Uthradam day, September 4, with Onaruchi Melam & Onakalavara at 8 am, followed at 9 am by the family drama Abhilasham starring Saiju Kurup, Thanvi Ram and Dileesh Pothan.
The day's highlight will be the world television premiere of the political thriller Empuraan featuring Mohanlal and Prithviraj at 12 noon.
