Chennai, Aug. 3 -- The stage is set for the Asian Surfing Championship 2025, with a grand opening ceremony held today evening.
The formal inauguration has set the stage for some high octane action in the event beginning tomorrow at Mamallapuram, the tourist resort, about 55 km from here.
This prestigious continental event will feature 102 athletes and 40 team officials from 19 Asian countries, making it one of the largest and most diverse surfing championships ever hosted in
India.
