Shimla, July 30 -- ASI Pankaj Sharma, one of the key early responders in the high-profile Vimal Negi death case, has moved the Himachal Pradesh High Court challenging alleged infringement of his personal liberty.
The petition (CWP No. 11859 of 2025) was heard by Justice Ajay Mohan Goel today.
In response to an application filed along with the petition, the court allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), through the Superintendent of Police, Shimla, to be impleaded as respondent No.5.
Petitioner alleged that he was provided security at his home and CCTV Camera was installed at his house in violation of his personal liberty.
