ASI injured as workers clash with police at Adani's Gooda Plant

Godda (Jharkhand), Nov. 28 -- An Assistant Sub Inspector of Police was injured following a

clash between workers and policemen at Adani's Power Plant located in this district on Monday.



SDPO Anand Mohan Mohan Singh said that a labourer had died inside the power plant under suspicious circumstances. On Monday as soon as the workers gathered for work they created a brawl over the issue.



To defuse the situation the ASI along with two jawans had got inside the plant but they got surrounded by the workers who indulged in stone pelting in which ASI Shahdeo Kumar and

a guard and few others sustained injuries.



To prevent the situation from getting out of control police had to fire couple of rounds in the air.
