Chandigarh, July 13 -- Ashwani Sharma, after formally taking charge today as the working president of the Punjab BJP, launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, accusing him of running a "circus" instead of a government.
Addressing a gathering of senior BJP leaders and party workers, Sharma warned that the BJP would now respond to Mann's rhetoric "four times louder-on the streets."
Sharma assumed office during the day in the presence of BJP Punjab president Sunil Jakhar, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, National Secretary Narinder Singh Raina, MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, Parliamentary Board member Iqbal Singh Lalpura, and other senior party functionaries and ex-ministers.
