Bengaluru, Sept. 21 -- BJP MLA and Karnataka Leader of Opposition R Ashoka today demanded that Congress ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who are reportedly opposing the state's caste survey, resign immediately, calling the exercise a politically motivated and anti-people attempt to divide Hinduism.

Addressing a press conference here, Ashoka said the Congress government is conducting the survey in haste under the guidance of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
