Pankaj JainNew Delhi, Jan. 6 -- Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood has called on former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal to apologize for what he described as "wrong and misleading statements" regarding the deployment of government school teachers in the city.

In the letter dated January 5, Sood rejected Kejriwal's allegation that teachers were being assigned duties related to counting stray dogs, calling the claim incorrect and a misrepresentation of facts. He stated that the government circular related to the matter is already in the public domain.
