New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Central government of compromising the interests of Indian cotton farmers to strengthen diplomatic and trade relations with the United States.
In a post on social media, Kejriwal claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making concessions that favour American interests, potentially harming local farmers, traders, and small industries.
Kejriwal stated that Indian markets are being increasingly opened to American goods under terms that could threaten domestic livelihoods. He described the negotiations between India and the US as "one-sided" and warned that such policies could undermine India's economic sovereignty.
