Itanagar, May 7 -- In yet another development for the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP), residents of four villages of Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district - Ningging, Singging, Angging and Rising - signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in support of the Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) survey activities during a programme held at the Community Hall in Tuting on Thursday.

A total of 39 families from Ningging village, 25 families from Singging, 18 families from Angging and 45 families from Rising village extended their consent for the PFR activities in the presence of more than 300 people.
