Itanagar, Jan. 20 -- In a landmark consultative meeting held at the Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) office in Naharlagun on Tuesday, ARC Chairman Pramod Jain, accompanied by Member Hento Karga, engaged in a high-level strategic dialogue with the leadership of the Arunachal Indigenous Tribes' Forum (AITF) and various apex community-based organisations (CBOs) to fundamentally bridge the gap between the State administration and the public.
The interaction focused on bridging the trust gap between governance institutions and citizens, with an emphasis on building "social trust" and repositioning the ARC as an "important limb of governance" that functions with transparency, inclusivity and empathy towards indigenous communities.
