Itanagar, April 27 -- In a major initiative aimed at youth empowerment and promotion of adventure tourism, Arunachal Pradesh's celebrated mountaineer Anshu Jamsenpa, Padma Shri awardee and Guinness World Record holder, called on West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar at the DC Office in Bomdila on Monday.
The meeting focused on the proposed Peak Promotion Program, under which an Adventure and Leadership Camp will be organized to provide young people with exposure to diverse career opportunities, essential life skills, and pathways for personal growth, while showcasing the region's potential for eco and adventure tourism.
