Itanagar, Aug. 1 -- As part of a sustained enforcement campaign to ensure compliance with the Inner Line Permit (ILP) regulations, the Naharlagun Police conducted an intensive drive in the capital region during last one week, resulting in the detection of 16 individuals residing or working without valid ILPs.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Naharlagun Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Nyelam Nega, and involved multiple police stations including Banderdewa, Naharlagun, Nirjuli, and Papu Hills. The drive focused on labour camps, construction sites, and roadside establishments.
