Itanagar, April 3 -- The 11th edition of "April Cool" event, organised by NE Narrative, was successfully held at Asali Farm in Asali village of Lower Dibang Valley district, bringing together farmers, youth, and self-help group (SHG) members to promote environmental sustainability and community participation.
The programme featured a plantation drive, during which participants planted a variety of saplings including Kaji Lemon (Assam's GI-tagged lemon), Thai Guava, Neem, Amla, and Black Plum. The initiative aimed to enhance biodiversity, support local livelihoods, and encourage eco-friendly practices.
