Itanagar, Feb. 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of the State's 40th Statehood Day, describing it as a land of patriotism, cultural richness and immense potential.

In a message addressed to Chief Minister Pema Khandu which was read out by the Chief Secretary at the Statehood Day event in Itanagar, the Prime Minister said Arunachal Pradesh, the state that first greets the rising sun in India, embodies radiant patriotism and unity.
