Itanagar, Oct. 5 -- Arunachal Pradesh is poised to make history tomorrow with the launch of its first commercial coal mine at the Namchik-Namphuk coal block in Changlang district, marking a transformative milestone in the state's journey toward energy security, economic growth, and employment generation.

The inauguration will be led by union Minister for Coal and Mines, G Kishan Reddy, who alongside Chief Minister Pema Khandu will perform the Bhoomi Poojan, hand over the mining lease, flag off tools and machinery of CPPL to the Namchik-Namphuk Central Coal Block, official sources said.
