Itanagar, March 19 -- Arunachal Pradesh's Kibithoo and Bichom Dam Site, along with 40 other destinations in the country, have been selected under the Challenge-Based Destination Development (CBDD) initiative, a sub-scheme of Swadesh Darshan scheme, by the Union Ministry of Tourism.

This move is set to enhance tourism infrastructure, promote sustainability, and uplift local communities, official sources said.

Located in the easternmost borders in Anjaw district, Kibithoo, recognized under the Vibrant Village Programme, represents the state's frontier beauty and rich cultural heritage.
