Itanagar, July 17 -- In a proud moment for Arunachal Pradesh, Jairampur town has been honoured with the State-Level Swachh Survekshan Award 2024-25 under the category of "Promising Swachh Shehar of Arunachal Pradesh."
The prestigious award was presented during a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, graced by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal conferred the award, which was received on behalf of Arunachal Pradesh by Urban Affairs Minister Balo Raja, and Urban Affairs Commissioner Vivek Pandey.
